Nintendo reinó en el mercado japonés de videojuegos en 2018: estos fueron los 100 juegos más vendidos
Ya se han contabilizado todas las ventas del año de 2018 y es momento de hacer balance. De momento, la cuenta Game Data Library nos ha brindado una lista con prácticamente todos los juegos vendidos durante el año anterior en Japón, así como ha proporcionado datos acerca del desempeño de las consolas y las distribuidoras en el país del Sol Naciente.
Para empezar, echemos un vistazo a estos dos gráficos:
En ellos se detallan las ventas del software en formato físico por consolas (gráfico de la izquierda) o por distribuidora (gráfico de la derecha). Como se puede observar, Japón es un país dominado totalmente por Nintendo. Más del 60% de los juegos comprados durante el año pasado fue para una consola de la Gran N (ya sea en Switch o 3DS). Además, Nintendo también ha dominado la lista de software propio distribuido, con el 39,82 % de juegos vendidos propios (a los que hay que sumar los distribuidos por The Pokémon Company, empresa de la que Nintendo es copropietaria).
Para terminar, esta es la lista con los 100 videojuegos más vendidos en Japón durante todo el año de 2018. Como podéis ver, solo Capcom con su Monster Hunter: World ha podido acercarse al arrollador año de Nintendo, cuyos grandes juegos del año (Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Pokémon: Let’s Go, Pikachu! / Eevee! y Super Mario Party) se han colado con increíbles ventas en el top 10.
